the captains journey

At a young age my family moved from Arkansas to Florida.  My father has definitely helped drive my passion for fishing and the outdoors.  My 2 brothers and father are great fisherman in their own repsect.  We spent a lot of time in Pensacola Florida fishing the bridges and beaches.  One of our favorite spots was Ft. Pickens on Pensacola Beach, which we spent our weekends fishing and camping.  In my teenage years I continued to fish but it wasn't until the past decade when I found my way onto the flats of Tampa Bay.  My passion for catching Redfish and Snook grew into an obsession.  Redfish has been a species that has particularly driving me to the water day in and day out for years.  If catching a Tampa Bay Redfish is a dream of yours, I once remember that dream.  About 4 years ago fly fishing took all of my attention.  I appreciate the effort that must be put in.  I personally enjoy a simple day with a fly rod more than any other type of fishing these days.  My goal is to give my anglers an experience in nature that they will remember for a lifetime.  Whatever it may be a Redfish tailed up at sunset, a Snook the size of a log laid up on a sunkissed shorline or strings of Silver Kings migrating down our shorelines, I want to share these type of world class experiences with my clients and anglers.
